Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man, is the main protagonist of the Spider-Man franchise owned by Marvel, and is the hero of the Game Boy game, The Amazing Spider-Man and it's sequels. He is also Marvel's flagship character, also referred to as a mascot.

Eddie Brock, a.k.a. Venom, one of Spider-Man's greatest foes, managed to kidnap Aunt May. Obvviously, this gets Spider-Man's attention, and he sets off to rescue her.
