Slippas are thin coral snake enemies in the Donkey Kong series.

History

Donkey Kong Country/Land

Slippas first appear in Donkey Kong Country. In the game, they are commonly found in caves and mining areas found throughout Donkey Kong Island. They are speedy but weak enemies, easily defeated by any attack. In some levels, Slippas would endlessly leap out of Oil Barrels, until those Oil Barrels were destroyed. It is not known if they are venomous, as they prefer simply slithering into their foes over biting. While they are likely to be wild, Slippas could possibly be affiliated with the Kremling Krew, being reptiles like the Kremlings. In the game, one of Dumb Drum's enemies he releases is Slippa.

Slippas reappear in Donkey Kong Land acting exactly the same as they did in Donkey Kong Country, but a lot more common.
