Mr. Patch is a large green inflatable dinosaur-esque creature whom is a recurring characting in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

History[]

Banjo-Tooie[]

He first appears in Banjo-Tooie as the boss of Witchyworld.

When Conga lets Banjo and Kazooie into the Big Top tent when having enough tickets, they search for their seats when Mr. Patch appears. After Kazooie comments on his size ("That Klungo freak near the start was probably bigger than you!"), he puffs himself up to an incredible height, almost reaching the ceiling, and the fight begins.

Once the duo shoots out the first of his many multicolored patches (his "weak point") with Grenade Eggs, he sends punching gloves to come up from the ground to attack, forcing the duo to shoot him down from the air. Also, he coughs up explosive beach balls while Banjo and Kazooie are flying.

When all his "weak points" are elimated, his plug finally bursts, and he deflates like a balloon. At the start of the fight, he is the largest boss in the game.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts[]

Mr. Patch reappears in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts in Nutty Acres where he is first encountered in the fifth act in the mission "Old Dog, New Tricks" who is seen to be inflated by Gruntilda again and patched up again.

In this area, Mr. Patch is blocking the plants from obtaining sunlight, meaning that Banjo and Kazooie have to defeat Mr. Patch before the plants wither too much and die out. He, though, is stuck in the ground which is blocking the sun. Throughout halfway in the mission, Gruntbots are summoned by Mr. Patch.

Like last time, Banjo and Kazooie must blow up Mr. Patch's holes to make him shrink enough until he blows up and is defeated.

He appears again in the game in Banjoland as, again, the boss of the area in the sixth act. He is know known as Metal Mr. Patch. He no longer has holes, is made of metal and has to be defeated by the Cactus of Strength.

Mr. Patch, along with many other notable characters throughout the Banjo-Kazooie series are hung up as pictures in Banjoland.
