Kutlass is a small Kremling enemy that appears in the Donkey Kong series.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest[]
Kutlass first appear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. Here, they use their swords to attack their foes. When they are attacked in the front, Diddy or Dixie (depending on who rolled into them) become injured. They can be attacked from behind however. They cannot be defeated via crates, barrels, etc. in the front in any way. They can only be jumped on once letting their swords slice down. They closely resemble Klanks, related looking enemies in the game. They are first found in Krem Quay.

- Kutlass are one of the few enemies to not reappear in Donkey Kong Land 2.
- Their name is based on the word cutlass, a type of sword.
