Krunchas are tough, blue, burly members of the Kremling Krew found in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. There are also rare pink variants of Krunchas only found in the two levels, Castle Crush and Clapper's Cavern. When enraged, these Krunchas move even faster than the original blue Krunchas.

History

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest/Land 2

Krunchas mark their first appearance in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest as semi-common enemies. They are so muscular that jumping has no effect on them, but they can still be defeated by weapons such as barrels or crates, an Animal Buddy, or or when Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong use their Team-Up move when jumping on him, doubling their weight to make it enough weight to defeat Kruncha. When he is jumped on, he will be enraged and turn red and start running left and right. When the Kongs use their Team-Up move when a Kong is thrown at them when Kruncha is enraged, it will have no effect on him and will only have a cause of losing a Kong.

In Donkey Kong Land 2, Krunchas make their second and latest reappearance with no significant changes, except the fact that Diddy and Dixie can't use their Team-Up move in this game on him, due to system limitations.
