Klampons are enemies that appear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. These enemies attack Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong by biting them. These enemies can be defeated by simple jump on the head and if the Kongs walk in front of a Klampon, they will lose a Kong or a life. They can be defeated when being attacked from behind and bite in and out when walking. They are the relatives of Klaptraps and have relatives that later appear in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! called Krimps.
