Ellie the Elephant is an Animal Buddy that shows up in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. She replaces Rambi the Rhinoceros. She uses her trunk to drink and shoot water and pick up barrels. She was also going to make an appearance in the cancelled Donkey Kong Racing.
