In the first game, he is cursed with lycanthropy and he needs to find a cure, so he participates in the Killer Instinct fighting tournament to find one.
Killer Instinct 2[]
In the second game, it is revealed that he was badly injured in the Killer Instinct Tournament, and had cybernetic enhancements to replace his damaged limbs.
