Brute is a bulldog-like fish that appears in the Bat's Tower chapter of Conker's Bad Fur Day and its remake Conker: Live & Reloaded. Brute sits in the center of a pool, chained to an underwater weight. He won't allow the catfish to return to their pool, and, in turn, prevents Conker from retrieving the money in the catfish's vault. When Conker runs on the large gear inside of the tower, Brute's chain is pulled further underwater, restraining him so that the catfish can give Conker his reward: 10% of the $10 that the catfish had in the safe (or, to be more precise, $1). Brute breaks free of his chain and begins to chase Conker through the river, eating any catfish in his path.
